Children's dentistry

Visiting the dentist is often stressful for many children. Our dentists will help your child to adapt: they will talk to them and show them the instruments used. To ensure a smooth visit, we recommend that you discuss the dental visit with your child at home.

Children are treated according to their psychological and physical readiness for dental treatment.

Painless procedures are guaranteed in all cases. Great attention is paid to children who are afraid of dental treatment. Where possible, the child's cooperation during dental treatment is achieved through psychological means. In other cases, pharmacological methods of behavioural control such as sedation or general anaesthesia are used.

Paediatric dental treatment under sedation or general anaesthesia is only available after consultation with a paediatric dentist. Children with mental and/or physical disabilities are given special attention to ensure urgent dental care.

Children's molar teeth silanation

Sealing the dental ridges with silanes protects the most sensitive areas of the tooth from decay.

Silantai - a liquid filling material used to fill the deep furrows of permanent molars. The hermetically sealed furrows do not retain food residues and are easier to clean. We recommend that you do this as soon as the first permanent molars have erupted. The procedure is simple, quick and painless.

Fluoride applications -It is a simple and cheap way to treat early stages of tooth decay.

Fluorine - a very important trace element that determines the tooth's resistance to tooth decay. The dentist's fluoride varnish applications help to maintain the required fluoride levels. During the procedure, the tooth is covered with a thin film that lasts up to 12 hours. During this time, the enamel gradually absorbs the minerals. A fluoride-rich tooth remains resistant to tooth decay for about 3 to 4 months.

To maximise the protection of healthy teeth against decay, it is recommended to repeat the applications periodically.
